FMP Update

Today I did my photoshoot for my final major project; I'm starting my own jewellery line & finally I have all the product made & ready to go! My friend Sophie modelled for me & looks amazing. I also took some cheeky polaroids on the side & they turned out pretty cool too. Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere, pretty happy right now.

Shopping Success!

Easter's over :(! But luckily it's been quite fruitful for me on the shopping front. I've managed to get some key summer pieces (thanks, student loan!) to give my wardrobe a bit of an update. Sorry for all the instagram photos, I do intend to fish out my tripod at some point for slightly more quality shots.

Well firstly I got this Drop Dead vest off eBay that I've wanted for so so long, it went into sale & sold out online a while ago so I had to get this when I saw it.
I teamed it with my Zara super bleached skinnies & Topshop buckled heels for a casual cinema date with my boyf.

I finally got round to going to Cheshire Oaks & this is what I wore.. Yeah I know double denim is frowned upon, but I think the exception is if you use different coloured denims (or so I like to tell myself). I broke it down with my trusty McQueen Scarf & took my fur gilet with me for an extra layer of warmth when the sun went down.

I managed to get these Warehouse floral trousers in the sale for a bargain £18. I struggled with what to put with it so got this mint green top from Vero Moda on my trip to Birmingham yesterday, it was a steal at just £15. (They come in a few different colours too, may have to invest.)

It also goes great with my coral Warehouse shorts which are perfect for the summer.

As you can tell my Birmingham Sunday shop was a true success & I ended up with a lot of good key pieces for my wardrobe.

We went for lunch at Bodega which serves South American street food- a bit like Wahaca in London if you've ever been, kinda tapas style, ordering a little bit of everything & sharing. It's nice because it's not a big commercial restaurant & has a really cool homely vibe without being brash & stereotypical like your usual Mexican chain restaurants.

I told myself I didn't need any more dresses.. and ended up with three. Ooops. This nude mullet hem dress was only £29.99 from Zara & I'm planning on wearing it to my friend's wedding. The acid yellow one I purchased mainly for the colour- I adore wearing yellow in the Summer, and for £16.75 from Forever 21 I couldn't Resist.

Finally the bottom right is from H&M and was a steal at £12.99. It's easy to wear & could be dressed up or down so I suppose it's a guilt free purchase.

I almost feel fulfilled at the moment in the shopping department, maybe some shoes will complete my urges to spend but in the mean time, I'm peachy.

Happy Easter

How's everyone's long weekend been? I spent the majority of mine.. urm.. at work. Ah the joys of working in retail. I have squeezed in one shopping trip today though, but I'm saving myself for a road trip to Cheshire Oaks near the end of the week & I'm holding out for student loan day next week!

It's been a miserable bank holiday weekend so I've spent most of it in my Urban Outfitters hat that I got from London a few weeks ago, it was £5 in the sale so I got it in black too but I love this colour.

Easter tulips for my mom.

How I spent my good Friday, baking & strawberry beer.

Pillow cookies! (Cookie mix stuffed with brownie mix) Would definitely recommend, it tasted like Pizza Hut cookie dough if you've ever tried it?!

Ready for work on Saturday with my hand made lace bunny ears.

Easter treats.

My little big baba, 13 today!

Happy birthday Remus!

My new nail obsession- a bit of turquoise for the summer time.

& that's my last few days.. Now which egg to eat next?

Graduation Inspiration

Uni's getting to that last bit of term now & it's the final push of my final major project, which, to be honest is getting a little stale (I've been doing it since January..) So the only thing really keeping me going is the fact I've been given my graduation date.... (Friday the THIRTEENTH of July!) Unlucky for some huh. I'm in two minds about going, I don't particularly feel like celebrating the two years of my foundation degree for numerous reasons, but I do feel like buying a new dress.

I have a hankering for something minty, with nude accessories, as you may be able to tell.
Here are my two options (although I may change my mind in the three months I have to prepare for it!)

02. Larna Platform Sandals // Topshop // £65
03. Horse Studded Clutch // ASOS // £24
