Easter's over :(! But luckily it's been quite fruitful for me on the shopping front. I've managed to get some key summer pieces (thanks, student loan!) to give my wardrobe a bit of an update. Sorry for all the instagram photos, I do intend to fish out my tripod at some point for slightly more quality shots.
Well firstly I got this Drop Dead vest off eBay that I've wanted for so so long, it went into sale & sold out online a while ago so I had to get this when I saw it.
I teamed it with my Zara super bleached skinnies & Topshop buckled heels for a casual cinema date with my boyf.
I finally got round to going to Cheshire Oaks & this is what I wore.. Yeah I know double denim is frowned upon, but I think the exception is if you use different coloured denims (or so I like to tell myself). I broke it down with my trusty McQueen Scarf & took my fur gilet with me for an extra layer of warmth when the sun went down.
I managed to get these Warehouse floral trousers in the sale for a bargain £18. I struggled with what to put with it so got this mint green top from Vero Moda on my trip to Birmingham yesterday, it was a steal at just £15. (They come in a few different colours too, may have to invest.)
It also goes great with my coral Warehouse shorts which are perfect for the summer.
As you can tell my Birmingham Sunday shop was a true success & I ended up with a lot of good key pieces for my wardrobe.
We went for lunch at Bodega which serves South American street food- a bit like Wahaca in London if you've ever been, kinda tapas style, ordering a little bit of everything & sharing. It's nice because it's not a big commercial restaurant & has a really cool homely vibe without being brash & stereotypical like your usual Mexican chain restaurants.
I told myself I didn't need any more dresses.. and ended up with three. Ooops. This nude mullet hem dress was only £29.99 from Zara & I'm planning on wearing it to my friend's wedding. The acid yellow one I purchased mainly for the colour- I adore wearing yellow in the Summer, and for £16.75 from Forever 21 I couldn't Resist.
Finally the bottom right is from H&M and was a steal at £12.99. It's easy to wear & could be dressed up or down so I suppose it's a guilt free purchase.
I almost feel fulfilled at the moment in the shopping department, maybe some shoes will complete my urges to spend but in the mean time, I'm peachy.
