June Wish List

I've had my eye on a few little bits lately.. Although the weather situation has been putting me in two minds over what to buy. This time last week it was super sunny & I didn't buy a jumper that I've wanted for ages just because the mere thought of wearing knitwear made my skin crawl. But now I'm here with the fire on, scarf on & wishing I had a bright yellow jumper to keep me snug!

02. Foil wrap dress // Oh My Love // £39.00
03. Embellished camisole // Zara // £39.99
04. Yellow sweater // Vero Moda // £22.99
05. Mint zip up bikini top // H&M // £9.99

What Always Happens? Life.

Once again life has got in the way of blogging. I have finally handed in my Final Major Project and henceforth completed my Foundation Degree. All I need to go back for is the end of year exhibition them I'm outta there faster than you can say Louboutins.
Standard my luck I came down ill with VERTIGO of all things a week after finishing uni so I've spent most of my time trying to control my dizzies with numerous drugs and fluids.

So what's new? Well. I bought this snazzy jacket off ASOS to wear to my boyfriend's sisters birthday outing in shrewsbury & I'm kind of obsessed with it.

I've bought a lot of things from work but the only decent photo I have is of me in these Eastern Tropic trousers which are super comfortable and worth the weird looks I get when I wear them.

This was my happy face on the last hand in day of uni, & my top was a H&M bargain at just £4.99.

I ended up getting tipsy with my friend once we'd handed in so we went drunk shopping & I ended up buying this tropical little dress from Topshop.

It's been a whole year since I last had my hair cut/coloured and it's finally getting to a healthy natural length & my roots are massive enough to be classed as dip dye now so I guess that's cool?

I got these Topshop shoes off eBay for an amazing £19.99, they were brand new with the original £60 stickers on them, loves it.

IT'S BEEN SUNNY! Well.. until today, but I did manage to squeeze in a couple of summery outfits for the occasion.

The lovely Mailbox in Birmingham looking very patriotic for the jubilee.

The only place I love to eat in Birmingham.. BODEGA!

My little guy enjoying some sun with me.

Finally an excuse to wear my Tavik swimsuit that I probably paid way too much for....

A new scented nail obsession.. Revlon's "beach" mixed with "zealous".

&&& my new shoe fetish.. Jeffrey Campbell Ponytails from Harvey Nic's. Yes.. I know I have never really understood the craze with the old Jeffrey's, but I think that's mainly because I find the Lita shoes really unflattering.. But these are much more up my street.

Jeeeeez what a massive post! BUT now I'm up to date & don't have blogger's guilt anymore.
Well good night for now

FMP Update

Today I did my photoshoot for my final major project; I'm starting my own jewellery line & finally I have all the product made & ready to go! My friend Sophie modelled for me & looks amazing. I also took some cheeky polaroids on the side & they turned out pretty cool too. Finally feel like I'm getting somewhere, pretty happy right now.

Shopping Success!

Easter's over :(! But luckily it's been quite fruitful for me on the shopping front. I've managed to get some key summer pieces (thanks, student loan!) to give my wardrobe a bit of an update. Sorry for all the instagram photos, I do intend to fish out my tripod at some point for slightly more quality shots.

Well firstly I got this Drop Dead vest off eBay that I've wanted for so so long, it went into sale & sold out online a while ago so I had to get this when I saw it.
I teamed it with my Zara super bleached skinnies & Topshop buckled heels for a casual cinema date with my boyf.

I finally got round to going to Cheshire Oaks & this is what I wore.. Yeah I know double denim is frowned upon, but I think the exception is if you use different coloured denims (or so I like to tell myself). I broke it down with my trusty McQueen Scarf & took my fur gilet with me for an extra layer of warmth when the sun went down.

I managed to get these Warehouse floral trousers in the sale for a bargain £18. I struggled with what to put with it so got this mint green top from Vero Moda on my trip to Birmingham yesterday, it was a steal at just £15. (They come in a few different colours too, may have to invest.)

It also goes great with my coral Warehouse shorts which are perfect for the summer.

As you can tell my Birmingham Sunday shop was a true success & I ended up with a lot of good key pieces for my wardrobe.

We went for lunch at Bodega which serves South American street food- a bit like Wahaca in London if you've ever been, kinda tapas style, ordering a little bit of everything & sharing. It's nice because it's not a big commercial restaurant & has a really cool homely vibe without being brash & stereotypical like your usual Mexican chain restaurants.

I told myself I didn't need any more dresses.. and ended up with three. Ooops. This nude mullet hem dress was only £29.99 from Zara & I'm planning on wearing it to my friend's wedding. The acid yellow one I purchased mainly for the colour- I adore wearing yellow in the Summer, and for £16.75 from Forever 21 I couldn't Resist.

Finally the bottom right is from H&M and was a steal at £12.99. It's easy to wear & could be dressed up or down so I suppose it's a guilt free purchase.

I almost feel fulfilled at the moment in the shopping department, maybe some shoes will complete my urges to spend but in the mean time, I'm peachy.

Happy Easter

How's everyone's long weekend been? I spent the majority of mine.. urm.. at work. Ah the joys of working in retail. I have squeezed in one shopping trip today though, but I'm saving myself for a road trip to Cheshire Oaks near the end of the week & I'm holding out for student loan day next week!

It's been a miserable bank holiday weekend so I've spent most of it in my Urban Outfitters hat that I got from London a few weeks ago, it was £5 in the sale so I got it in black too but I love this colour.

Easter tulips for my mom.

How I spent my good Friday, baking & strawberry beer.

Pillow cookies! (Cookie mix stuffed with brownie mix) Would definitely recommend, it tasted like Pizza Hut cookie dough if you've ever tried it?!

Ready for work on Saturday with my hand made lace bunny ears.

Easter treats.

My little big baba, 13 today!

Happy birthday Remus!

My new nail obsession- a bit of turquoise for the summer time.

& that's my last few days.. Now which egg to eat next?

Graduation Inspiration

Uni's getting to that last bit of term now & it's the final push of my final major project, which, to be honest is getting a little stale (I've been doing it since January..) So the only thing really keeping me going is the fact I've been given my graduation date.... (Friday the THIRTEENTH of July!) Unlucky for some huh. I'm in two minds about going, I don't particularly feel like celebrating the two years of my foundation degree for numerous reasons, but I do feel like buying a new dress.

I have a hankering for something minty, with nude accessories, as you may be able to tell.
Here are my two options (although I may change my mind in the three months I have to prepare for it!)

01. Twill Long Sleeve Wrap Dress // LOVE // £32
02. Larna Platform Sandals // Topshop // £65
03. Horse Studded Clutch // ASOS // £24

Right
01. Clara Cut Out Dress // ARK // £26.99
02. Pink Bow Heels // Miss Selfridge // £42

It's Sunny!

How lovely is the weather?! It makes everything much easier and more fun, waking up, going to uni, doing lunch, anything is more fun with the sun out.
I got this little metallic pink top from Topshop initially for a photoshoot with the intention to take it back afterwards, but then I tried it on & kinda liked it so it ended up staying in my wardrobe. I didn't wanna go over the top summery so I teamed it with my panther print joggers & zip up sandals.
